An alert is posted when the university considers a crime to pose an on-going threat to the university community. February 4, 2009 -
BURGLARY
On Wednesday, February 4, 2009, the University Police Department responded to a burglary at Wilson Hall. This incident occurred sometime between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2009. A wallet was stolen in the incident from an unlocked office.
Please remember DO NOT leave your office unlocked and unattended, even if it is for just one to two minutes. The university community is reminded to always keep windows and doors locked when you leave offices and residences. Also be familiar with your surroundings to protect yourselves and your property.
Information has been obtained on a suspect in this case.

December 18, 2008 -
BURGLARY
At approximately 7:10 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2008, the University Police Department responded to a burglary at Wilson Hall. This incident occurred sometime between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2008. A large amount of U.S. Currency was stolen in the incident from an unlocked office.
The university community is reminded to keep windows and doors locked when you leave offices and residences. Also be familiar with your surroundings to protect yourselves and your property.

BURGLARY
At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2008, the University Police Department responded to a burglary at the University Village Apartments. The following items were taken: $170.00 in U.S. Currency and an IPOD player.

BURGLARY
At approximately 8:51 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, the University Police Department responded to a burglary at the Rider Rink located on West University Street. This incident occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 29, 2008.

BURGLARY
At approximately 9:50 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2008, the University Police Department responded to a burglary at Greene Hall located on the campus of Southern Arkansas University. This incident occurred on Monday, April 14, 2008 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 9:50 a.m. A laptop computer, X-box 360, Playstation and numerous games were taken.

At approximately 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, the University Police Department responded to a burglary at the Rider Rink located on West University Street. This incident occurred sometime between Monday, March 31, 2008 and Wednesday, April 2, 2008. A speaker system was stolen in the incident.
